Restore & Rebuild

If you or someone you know is facing homelessness, find out how to connect with the support and services available to help.

Get Started

I-Help Monterey Bay is dedicated to offering immediate support and shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness. We believe in providing a safe, welcoming space where people can rest, access meals, and find the support they need to take the next steps toward stability.

Our goal is to make homelessness a brief and manageable experience by offering not just a place to sleep, but also a supportive environment where individuals can regain their strength, talk with caring staff, and, when ready, explore opportunities for employment, housing, and other services.

If you're facing homelessness, the first step is applying to our program. This simple process helps connect you to I-Help Monterey Bay and our network of community partners, ensuring that you get the right support for your unique needs—whether that's a bed for the night or guidance on how to get back on your feet.

How to Apply

How to Apply

Step 1

Give Us a Call

Before applying, contact the I-HELP program to confirm availability. You can reach the program at the following numbers:

  • Men’s Program:

    • (831) 205-3496

  • Women’s Program:

    • (831) 393-5154

Step 2

Meet with Program Coordinator

Once you’ve confirmed availability, you'll meet with an I-HELP program coordinator during the "tryout" period. This meeting helps assess your individual situation and determine if the I-HELP program is the right fit for you. The coordinator will discuss your needs and goals, and together, you’ll decide if this is the best path forward or if other resources may be more suitable.

Step 3

"Going Forward" Plan

Once accepted into the program, you’ll work closely with your coordinator to create a personalized "going forward" plan. This plan is designed to help you regain stability, and following it will be a key part of your continued participation in the program.
